Since

Dole Food España was created in 1994 after Dole expanded into Spain by purchasing well-positioned fresh fruit distribution companies and merging them into a single operating company.  In 2005, we created a Portuguese branch.

Today, Dole operates 6 distribution centers – in Madrid, Alicante, Seville, Barcelona, Oviedo and Azambuja (Portugal) – covering the whole Iberian Peninsula.

Activities

Currently, 60% of product sales are sourced from Dole (under several brand names), principally bananas, pineapples and exotic fruits such as papayas, plantains and yuccas grown in Central America.  In volume terms, our most important non-Dole product is the Canary Islands banana.

We supply major wholesalers and supermarket chains throughout Spain and Portugal.
