DOLE Fruits and Vegetables have been enjoyed in Europe for almost 50 years.  It all started in Northern Europe with the introduction of our historic and iconic DOLE Canned Pineapple.  Following this success, we started to develop a fresh fruit range across Europe.

In 1990, we established Dole Europe as a company to oversee the import of DOLE Fresh Fruit and Vegetables through Dole import offices and agents in various European countries. 

Since the introduction of an EU regulatory regime for imported bananas in 1993, Dole Europe has steadily built up importing, ripening and warehousing facilities across Europe.  Today, these forward-integrated operations offer our retail customers a highly efficient service and enable Dole to import a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables from both our own farms and independent growers around the world.

Our Packaged Foods business, also headquartered in Paris, produces a growing line of innovative products, enabling everyone to enjoy fruit in more convenient formats and sometimes with a little more indulgence!  We also process fresh vegetables and salads, meeting the increasing demand for healthy food that is convenient.  Our salads are blended, and continually updated, to suit all preferences and tastes.
